Stark white walls, beautifully-colored accessories and artwork, the perfect pops of color… That’s my perfect office in very few words. I love the idea of letting my eyes rest on the softness of a white wall, while being livened up and inspired by the hues surrounding me — in the details of the design. I think that sometimes stark whiteness in interiors is overdone, but in an office, I really do feel that it is the most perfect place to implement the idea of a minimalistic color palette. There’s something exciting about walking into a room and taking in bits and pieces of color, rather than being smacked in the face with too much competition. Especially in an office, where one (most likely), is working — don’t we want to be relaxed and inspired by the things around us?
What is your take on blank canvas office spaces? Do you require more color in a space, or are you content with a little rest?
